Happy Father’s Day!

I hope everyone had a great weekend! Special mention to my dad, it was a tough start for him in 2012 but here we are on Father’s Day and he is getting back to his normal state – Couldn’t be happier!! He picked me up on his motorcycle last week and went for a ride… just like old times.

When I think of Father’s Day I feel a bit inspired by Nautical decor…I love the various shades of blue and white. Rope is a great way to add texture into a room, I love the colour and natural beauty of it. I feel that when I see something that is nautical-inspired I feel closer to the water whether it be up at a cottage or near the ocean! Speaking of cottages… I will be heading up to one next weekend! I already feel relaxed just thinking of it:)
